We are rounding the last stretch of summer in these parts, so of course I'm coming to you with some more fun and easy styles to carry you through the rest of the season! I've been shopping for a lot of bridal events and birthday brunches and such, and these sorts of occasions call for pieces that are a bit more girly than I'm used to. As you all might know, bardot tops and dresses have been all the rage this year, and I've been enjoying it quite a bit, especially in dresses. This one in particular caught my eye because of the little white poms throughout - I love a tiered sleeve, and the pompoms added that extra bit of interest and complimented the stripes very well.

I wanted the dress to be the center of the look, so I kept my accessories light and minimal. I opted for a black shopper tote, and let one of my favorite pair of heels tie everything in as they are a deeper shade of navy and white. At first I felt this dress was a little too girly and flouncy for me, but now I really love this and can also see myself pairing with with a simple sandal or flats for a more casual look. What do you guys think of this slightly exaggerated style of bardot/off the shoulder dress? Let me know in the comments below, and I'll see you in the next post! As always, thanks for reading!
