UNIFORM

COAT - H&M
BLOUSE - TOPSHOP
JEANS - TOPSHOP
BOOTS - TOPSHOP

Chances are, if you know me then you know that this outfit and makeup combination is pretty much my go-to when I don't know what to wear, and especially on weekends out. I have always loved and will continue to stand by all black attire. We all know what they say - it's slimming, flattering, mysterious, instantly cool - and for me it's also comfortable. There's no fuss when I throw on a black outfit, I can just head out the door and feel reasonably put together.

Do I own anything besides black jeans with rips in them and tie-up blouses, I'm sure you're wondering? The answer is no (I'm kidding... kind of). I have to consciously stop myself from wearing these jeans every day, but I enjoy how distressed they are and consequently I am considering buying them in every color they come in. As for the lace-up top, I just can't stop adding new ones to my collection... always in the color black and always only a slight variation from the last. If something works for you, stick to it... am I right? That's what I keep telling myself, anyway. I love this particular blouse because it's a little more luxe than the other styles of lace-up tops that I have, and it could be paired with a number of other things. Plus, it's slightly pirate-like, so I really couldn't resist.

To pull the whole outfit together, I wore my new favorite pair of leather boots with a heel (I wore the other ones practically to death), and a smarter looking jacket with a faint grey leopard print for a bit of interest. I think that the dark lip and my hair are the finishing touches! What should we call this? Pirate chic? Goth girl looks? I'll let you decide. I linked as much as I could above, happy hunting! Thanks for reading, and I'll see you all in the next post! Keep your eyes peeled for something exciting.

  1. Wow you are such a dreamgirl like wow. Your makeup looks amazing as does your hair. And tbh who even wants to wear anything but black all the time??? Not me.
