December is well underway, and I have to say that all the holiday festivities and cheer feel out of place due to how warm it is where I am! The weather has been so temperate, and especially on the day I shot this look, which explains how I'm able to get away with a sleeveless jacket right before Christmas. If you've been following me for a while, you'll recognize this vest -- it's one of my all time favourites, and I also have it in navy as well. If you like it, buy it in every colour, am I right? Right. (This is the part where I swear I'm not a shopaholic, but then I'd probably be lying). One trend I'm really into this season is winter whites, paired with more neutral colors like camel, light khaki/military green, and grey. Something about those colors together seems super chic and easy, so I'll probably be posting more looks in them!

This particular combination consists of the vest, as mentioned, some grey rip jeans, my trusty adidas, and then a white leather look tank from Zara which I bought at the end of SS '15. I liked mixing the different colors and textures. To add a little pop of color, I threw on a navy floppy hat from ASOS -- it also brought a different feel to an otherwise laid back outfit. I'm carrying my usual over-stuffed snake print tote, and to be honest I can't be bothered to change my bag because I can fit everything and it's monochrome so it goes with everything. Had it been slightly colder, I would have thrown on a long white trench coat to continue balancing the color and maintain a fresh look. Funnily enough, as we get further into winter months I'm becoming more drawn to lighter, pastel palettes. Maybe this is my way of refreshing my wardrobe.

What colors are you guys liking now? Let me know in a comment down below! As always thanks for reading, and see you in my next one.
