TRANSITION

BOMBER JACKET - TOPSHOP
TOP - TOPSHOP

It's been a little while, but I'm back! Just in the nick of time too - where I am, we're experiencing the delicious transition from hot and sticky summer into fall, my favorite season! I would say I'm brushing the dust off of my favorite coats and jeans, but that wouldn't be true because I wore fall pieces through the summer as well. My leather jacket was always with me on hot nights out, and in my opinion it was worth braving the heat to still look awesome. Now I don't have to anymore, because summer is finally behind us! I'm so excited for the A/W fashion trends this year as well, and I can't wait to start picking up some new pieces for the season.

One such new piece that I couldn't hold off on was this beautiful khaki bomber from Topshop. I've been eyeing it for months, but I couldn't justify purchasing another bomber jacket in the middle of summer. As soon as we hit 75 degrees and partly cloudy, I purchased it right away. The sizes were also dwindling down, because Ciara (click HERE) was spotted wearing it to an event not too long ago! As you can tell, my obsession  with this color isn't going anywhere, and I will probably be wearing it all through fall and into winter as well. Lately, I've been feeling most comfortable in a more urban look, or really anything easy - top, jeans, and a cool pair of sneakers. Comfort is really important to me because I walk around most of the time and commute, so I can't be bothered with shoes that are painful anymore.

The jacket was the main piece I worked around in creating this look, so I decided to keep things simple and pair it with a top that was a fairly neutral color to avoid clashing. I love this silver metal yarn top, because it's so easy to take it from day to night. A pair of ripped skinny jeans and these Nikes, and I was out the door! I got to shoot these photos with my friend Kaitlyn (link to her instagram is HERE), and we mixed up locations by going down to the harbor in Old Town. This is one of my favorite places to have a stroll and grab something great to eat, so I'm glad we got to use the location! Don't mind my hair, it was drizzling and I got a little more volume than I wanted thanks to the moisture.

Are you guys going to incorporate a bomber into your fall looks? Let me know down below in the comments, and I'll see you in the next one!
