It's June, so I think I can reluctantly say that summer is here... I know so many people who are excited for the warmth, the long days and warm nights, and the beaches and water parks, and all that. I am not one of those people! I prefer autumn a lot more, I just think I'm much more well-suited for colder weather. Anyway, enough of my little tangent. It's been a while since I posted, and most of that has to do with my right eye. I punched myself in the face pulling a cork out of a wine bottle which resulted in some popped blood vessels, and I just looked too gnarly to shoot. I have also taken the time to gather a semi-decent array of warm weather looks, so without further interruption let's roll on! I'm interested to see what else I can throw together in one of my least favorite seasons.

This dress is in a silhouette that I favor, if you have been reading my blog for the last few months. I love a good v-plunge and cami shape, because it gives me room to breathe and is super easy to style up or down. I will say the length isn't the best for a short girl like me because it cuts me off in an odd place, but I just love the print so much that I don't mind it. This palm leaf print has been everywhere this season, so I definitely wanted to participate. It makes me feel so vacationy (not a word) and resorty (also not a word). You know me - had to throw on a vest as well, and this lightweight one you've seen before just compliments everything perfectly. Gladiator sandals are another huge piece for this summer, and thankfully Topshop does a good selection for a decent price. I am looking for some that lace up all the way, but because I haven't got super long legs I think I'll make do with these for now!

Another all Topshop post, I know... bear with me. A lot of my newer pieces will be coming from there, possibly including some things from the Kendall and Kylie collection dropping soon! Is anybody else a little excited about it? Fan or not of them, they're going to bring a nice Cali vibe into stores and I can't wait to see how it goes. As usual all or most items are linked above - I hope you all like this look, leave a comment below and I'll see you in the next one!

  1. I love that dress! Those are the kinds of dresses I just live in in the summer. I hate being hot.
Your hair is absolutely amazing too. You are lovely!
