I'm back, and I hope I'm going to keep this one short and sweet! How are you all doing? Lately I've felt like everything is go-go-go, and I'm so exhausted I'm almost delirious every day. What is sleep??? All I could think about this week was making sure I got a blog post up as soon as I possibly could, so here we are! Something to look at on a Saturday, for your reading pleasure. Is this even making any sense? Before I shoot, I always try to brainstorm what I can wear and how the outfit will translate in the photos. I don't plan my accessories or particular styling every single time, but usually it all happens to come together. I've been trying to scale back on my outfits and evolve my style so it's more streamlined, simple, and crisp.

I think this is definitely a step in the right direction! I picked up this H&M striped tee with a front pocket on it a few weeks ago - I own a few other shirts from them in this exact cut, but with different prints. I think they retail for $14.95, I wasn't able to link it in this post but if you pop into your local H&M I'm sure you can find it. I cannot stress to you guys the importance of a good striped shirt, because not only do they go with EVERYTHING, they just lend that extra oomph to an outfit when you can't really think of how to spruce yourself up. I was gifted these leather boots from my mother as an early birthday gift, so it was a no-brainer for me to throw on my beloved leather jacket. Funnily enough, they're both from the some brand and sport the same silver hardware!

The combination of the leather jacket and boots made me feel extra tough. Keeping the colors monochrome helped the look become more streamlined and simple. You know what really pulled it together for me, though? The Raybans. They're just so classic that they instantly make anything you wear look cool (well don't take that literally, I'm not sure they can save a head-to-toe matching pajama set). I threw on my vintage Coach bag, and as a result I think everything looks casual and collected. It's a look that is super easy to replicate, and that anyone can pull off. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

I just made a purchase a week ago while I was visiting Richmond that is seriously major. I can't wait to show you guys when the weather finally makes up its mind and we're in warmer times. Keep your eyes peeled!!
