As my Instagram and Twitter bios promise, I am here in all my oversized glory!!! Usually when putting a look together I try to be mindful of proportions and all that fashion stuff, but honestly, this is the reality: I'm 5'2, not overwhelmingly huge in any way, and I like to look like I'm artfully drowning in my clothes. I wish a more fitted aesthetic was comfortable for me, but let me tell you it absolutely is not. No matter how many times I try to coax myself into some extremely tight skinnies with an even tighter top to match, I just can't do it. As Shakespeare said, "to thine own self be true." I found what I like right now, and I'm stickin' to it! The following posts will have a lot more looks like this, so you can truly start to grasp how much I like everything baggy, loose and oversized. Because why look like a girl when you can have fun dressing like a confused teenage boy??

OK, let's get right into this post. It's cold in my part of the world, so I wanted to go for warmth as well as function. Since my beloved camel coat hasn't got any buttons, I decided a scarf and a super chunky sweater would make up for it. The sweater I chose was one of my last huge purchases from Urban Outfitters as an employee, and it's by a super funky label that you've probably heard of called UNIF. If not, have a google and see what you think! I got it in a size medium so I could also wear it as a dress, but it's too cold so ain't nobody got time fo dat. I love the color and texture, and it did a good job keeping the weather at bay. For a pop of color, I tossed on this tartan scarf I got at the beginning of fall. The jeans are a sale purchase I made probably at the end of summer from American Eagle, and they are a boyfriend fit which makes them, yes, baggy. Do you see where I'm going with this?

I think hands down, the star of the show here has got to be my shoes. I have been hungrily stalking this pair for weeks, but every time I went in they never had my size. I contemplated sizing down (surely a couple of pinched and numb toes couldn't be that bad, right?) but finally, on an odd visit, my friend Michelle FOUND THEM!!! Miracles do happen, y'all. I nabbed them right away, and I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear them. I love the two-toned feature, especially paired with this coat. Ahhh, I DIE. On a last random note, can we please given an honorable mention to my contour? My cheekbones are on fleek, if I do say so myself.
