OUTERWEAR EDIT PART TWO: THE TEDDY COAT

COAT - TOPSHOP
SHIRT - FOREVER 21
JEANS - URBAN OUTFITTERS
SHOES - JEFFREY CAMPBELL LITA
RINGS - FOREVER 21
I know you all know how much I love the camel coat I posted previously, but guys... this one just might take the cake. I have been so excited to share this look that I can hardly contain myself as I type this. The fluffy coat is definitely on trend for this season, but I think it's a piece of outwear that every girl should have if you're looking to try something new. As soon as I put this on, I knew it had to be mine - it gave me this glam rocker feeling, and who doesn't want to feel like that? This is the teddy coat from, you guessed it, Topshop, but loads of other high street retailers make them as well. I know ASOS, Missguided, Forever 21 and H&M all carry their versions of it. Topshop's come in the black pictured above, brown, and cream. Keep in mind I am a tiny girl, so I had my reservations that the coat would make me look like a miniature walking bundle of fluff, but I don't think that's the case at all! If it is, please let me know so I can put myself out of my misery - honesty is the best policy.

This teddy coat has kept me so warm as the temperatures continue to drop, and it's such a statement piece that I get compliments on it wherever I go! On this particular day, it was warm enough that I decided to pair it with a simple slogan T-shirt (look at the words, guys. Does it match my blog, or does it match my blog?) and my Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes. This style is a bit summery, but I love the height that they lend me and I think the contrast of the black and white is awesome.

If you're on the fence about getting a coat in this style, I say go for it! It's functional, it looks great, and it'll last in your wardrobe for some time. The only minor complaint I have is that the fuzz tends to shed a bit and then I end up getting it in my mouth, but no harm no foul. It's a small price to pay for the glorious coat on my shoulders. Let me know if you end up getting one as well!

The outwear edit is winding down... keep on the look out for the last installation, coming to you very soon! Until then, thanks for reading.
