To all my lovely readers, Happy happy Thanksgiving if it's a holiday you celebrate! If not, I hope you had the chance to sit back and reflect on all the things you're grateful for. This year, I'm particularly grateful for you lot, and for everybody in my life who's been supportive of this blogging endeavor. Now, full speed ahead before I get too mushy!

I went to my aunt's house for a lovely lunch, and had the smart idea to shoot after stuffing myself with excessive amounts of food. Thankfully I chose this sweater to wear, and it both kept me warm and was oversized enough to hide my food baby! My sister complained that I looked like I'm wearing a sack and wanted me to belt the dress, but she just doesn't get the oversized aesthetic that I love. The cowl neck is also amazing, isn't it? I feel like every time I wear a rollneck/turtleneck I have to pose with it pulled up over half my face.

The faux-leather vest really brought some toughness to this look, and allowed me to tie in these amazing cut-out boots. I also love to pair them with knee-high socks, which I'll likely do as the temperatures continue to plummet. I felt this look was super easy but still on trend, and how great is the setting? It felt so autumny (not a real word, people) that I just wanted to frolic and prance in the leaves.

My next post will probably be full of Black Friday goodies, so look forward to seeing my newly broke self in all my brand new additions. If you liked this one, please leave me a little comment down below, and don't forget to follow up with my on Instagram and Twitter if you don't already do: my handle for both is @chicrekik.

Now that Thanksgiving's over, you know what's coming.... BRING ON CHRISTMAS!!!

Rekik
